ok, i'm sure i'm being either blind or just dumb, but somebody help me out with my tunnelvision...

emerging freeswan results in the following:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You need to have the crypto-enabled version of Gentoo Sources
with a symlink to it in /usr/src/linux in order to have IPSec
kernel compatibility. Please emerge sys-kernel/crypto-sources,
compile an IPSec-enabled kernel and attempt this ebuild again.
!!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/net-misc/freeswan/freeswan-1.98b.ebuild .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i've emerged crypto-sources and all that stuff.

but i didn't see anything in make menuconfig about ipsec - am i missing something there, or do i need to create a link or what?

pointers greatly appreciated.
