I don't know if I am the only one, but I would like to see FreeSwan in to the portage system.
So I could build a kernel with ipsec capabilities. So I could make my Virtual Private Network connections again with my friends.
Are there more fans of freeswan?

FreeSwan support would be great. Have you considered writing the ebuild scripts and submitting it back to the gentoo project?

I did. But I couldn't compile it into the gentoo kernel. When compiling it intoo the kernel he said he couldn't find gmp.h 
So I was hoping someone els wrote the ebuild scripts... |

GMP is a library for arbitrary precision arithmetic. In the portage tree it lives under devel-libs/gmp and freeswan would depend on that.
Try "emerge gmp" before you build freeswan and things should be better.
I don't know how to make ebuild files yet but I'll study on.

I am compiling freeswan again (it should be working now after I merged gmp)
When I have time (I am very busy right now) I'll take a look at making a ebuild too.
