hello,
i was wondering, is there a usage guide for the scripts like 'autobuildimg.sh' , 'autocomile.sh' and 'autosysimg.sh' found in /usr/portage/scripts/ ?. their names make them sound very useful. i have tried looking through them but i am still not sure exactly how they are used. has anyone else tried them yet? any help would be appreciated (as always). thank you in advance.

I believe that these are the scripts that portage uses during various parts of the emerge/ebuild process. As for a document, I don't believe so. There's a Developers section in the Gentoo Documentation site, but I don't believe it goes into that level of detail.
