Hi,
even I read https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=9829
and the content of the file is the same as it said perl-post_pkg_setup() instead of perl_pkg_setup().
I still can't emerge Net-SSLeay with an error message asking me the installation directory of OpenSSL (something like that)
... any ideas? |

Calculating dependencies ...done!
md5 Net_SSLeay.pm-1.15.tar.gz
Unpacking source...
Unpacking Net_SSLeay.pm.1.15.tar.gz
Source unpacked
Checking for OpenSSL-0.9.6c or newer...
I count not find your OpenSSL in 'PREFIX=/var/tmp/portage/Net-SSLeay-1.15/image/usr'
Please provide OpenSSL-0.9.6c installation directory (get from http://www.openssl.org/ if you don't have it; please note that SSLeay is no longer supported, see README) (C-c to abort):
while I emerge search openssl
dev-lib/openssl
latest version available: 0.9.6e
latest version installed: 0.9.6e |

so you have openssl emerged?
if so the portage version is indeed a later version than ssleay is asking for.
try removing openssl, and re emerging it ? |
