Hi, all...
No problem with digikam until I tried to start it, today. I now get the following error: | Code: | $ digikam
kbuildsycoca running...
KCrash: Application 'digikam' crashing...
Could not find 'drkonqi' executable.
KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launching directly.

My desktop manager is XFCE4, and my currently installed version of digikam is media-gfx/digikam-0.9.5-r1

Hi cgmd,
I have the same problem with kuickshow after emerge -uND world (revdep-rebuild is clean):
$ kuickshow 22-20091017081400-00.jpg
kbuildsycoca running...
Wrong JPEG library version: library is 70, caller expects 62
IMLIB ERROR: Cannot load image: /SUN/MOTION/20091017/22-20091017081400-00.jpg
All fallbacks failed.

You should re-emerge all packages depending on media-libs/jpeg.

yes we were simultaneous.
Thank you for the answer - I will try it --> 60 packages (inc. xulrunner, kdelibs, ...) will take some time.

For whatever it's worth...
emerge -uDN world, today, brought down multiple kde related updates as well as upgrading digikam to media-gfx/digikam-0.10.0-r1. Now digikam works without the error message...
My problem is now solved.

Also FIXED for me --> emerge everything which depends on jpeg --> equery d media-libs/jpeg
emerge -1 ..................................................................................................................................
