well, when I try to compile mplayer the compilation stops in the checking....
the last I see is

and that's all.... nothing more.
I try recompiling freetype, and with other versions of mplayer and its the same.
any suggestions?

If you have nothing constructive to say at least be accurate. Forum search is limited but sometimes adequate (as here) and Googlebot has been crawling us again for some time.

Moved from Gentoo on AMD64 to Duplicate Threads.
See mplayer won't configure (SOLVED).
