I would like to install Gentoo using a stage 1 tarball. How would I go about doing this; the Gentoo guide gives instructions for stage 3 now. Any extensive guide is appreciated.
Thank you ! |

This has been asked and answered ad nauseum.
Stage1 installs are definitely and absolutely unsupported because they are a total waste of time.
Feel free to waste your time any way you like but wasting others' is not so nice |

The best that we can do today is to run this after downloading a Stage 3:
This will do a Stage 2 actually if you change your Cflags. |
