I'm not entirely new to Gentoo, but I can't think of the best way to recover from Python not being installed since emerge depends on it. Anyone have any ideas? |

Several, leading with "please search before posting" in a dead heat with "read the FAQs," followed closely by a suggestion to review the forum Guidelines, which mention all these points.
In the SA: System Administration section of the FAQs, see SA5: Things to not unmerge or remove and look for "python."
