Which arch should I choose? IA64 or AMD64?

Given the hardware that's listed in my signature, what sofware arch should I run? IA64 or AMD64?

1.44MB capacity Floppy Disk - - PS/2 keyboard (no mouse)

amd64

IA64 is Intel's now decade old VLIW architecture and patent strategy designed to confound the cloners.
