For me, it skips the first 49 seconds of subsequent tracks almost all the time; for some of them, I can't even go back to the beginning of the track without the audio stopping and Amarok semi-crashing (this seems to happen with songs longer than 5 minutes)
My whole music collection is in flac, so it looks like I'll be using Aqualung for the time being
I've tried all of the 1.4* versions, and they all have this problem. This is with no crossfade, gaplass playback. In the thread mentioned above they were guessing that it might be a xine-lib problem.
What do you think?
My machine:
x86_64
Alsa kernel modules, from the 2.6.29 kernel (snd_oxygen, snd_seq, snd_pcm_oss)
1.0.18 alsa-utils
latest stable versions of flac and xine-lib
