em.........is it a MUST to do bsdlabel?
i didn't do such step......
is it a MUST to mount /dev under /mnt/gentoo? before chroot?

Yes, to be bootable by SRM, BSD disklabels must be used.
And yes, you have to mount the hard disk before chrooting. I can't imagine what you were doing without mounting the disk... _________________ My Wiki page |
