Hi,

I made a documentation about my Gentoo Server so everyone can use it:
http://doc.gabosh.net/
This Howtos are created with a little Perl-Script which is running every time I change something because of updates or what ever. So there is every time a very up-to-date documentation.
I hope I can help someone with that...

The documentation actually includes the following Howtos:

Code:
ARP monitoring
Backup
Basesystem
DHCP-Server
DNS
Diskless Host - Basesystem
Diskless Host - OpenLDAP PAM-Client
Diskless Host - PAM_Mount
Diskless Host - X-Server
DynDNS
FTP-Server
Faxserver
File-Server - Samba
Firewall and Traffic Shaping
GA-Lib
IMAP/POP3-Server
ISDN
Mailinglists with MailMan
Mailserver
MySQL-Server
OpenLDAP
OpenLDAP WebGUI phpldapadmin
Printserver
SMS over ISDN
SSL/TLS with CAcert
Sane Scanner Server
Server for diskless clients
Skripte
Statistics
Telephone answering machine
Time-Server
VPN-Client
VPN-Server
Webserver

Have a lot of fun... ;-)
olli

Nice guides and good work.
By the way the ISDN page I think has an error on it:
[link]http://doc.gabosh.net/howto_ISDN.html[/link]

The lines:
Code:

Before change

#fcusb2      fus2base.frm   -   -   -   -   -

After change

#fcusb2               fus2base.frm    -       -       -       -       -

are identical... thus no change is needed, unless you meant to remove the '#' from the line.
Thanks for the guides.

Hi,

thank you very much for the positive feedback of my little documentation project... ;-)

@gentoo_dude: Yes you are right. I switched from my Fritz!USB to AVM B1 because the drivers are in the Kernel and building drivers for my Fritz!USB made often little problems with new Kernels. Now the documentation should be correct. Thank you very much for reporting this error.

Here is a new little harddisk spindown / standby script which I use for my 2nd (data) harddisk for powersaving.
