ned help whit gnome-utils-2.4.0.ebuild evrey time im traing to install it i get error

Seems that the solution in the above mentioned thread didn't resolve the problem and there's no activity in the bug submitted in bugs.gentoo.org.

Is there anyone who has experienced this problem as well and been able to resolve it?

Got the same Problem, the prefered solution doesn't take any effect.
Additionaly i've unmerged gnome-utils, so a big part of my gnome-env is not longer working.

How could this be fixed?

I forgot:
I have the problem on two seperate machines, both with gentoo but they differ in configuration... Trying to catch more information about it

after updating my gentoo completly (more than 80 updates in the last days) the problem did not occure any more.
