Hi

I am using gentoo linux 2.6.25 for x86 (only 1 yr old) for PCI e card and it works very wierd. Sometimes the code gets struck, screen hangs up and sometimes a screen with white lines get displayed.

Couple of things I need to make:

1) I am using gentoo linux 2.6.24 for PPC and the PCIe card is working fine.

2) I am using Redhat linux 2.4.18 for x86 and it works fine for the PCIe card.

3) I am using Centos linux 2.6.9 for x86 and this also works fine.

I would like to stick on to gentoo. Can you please suggest me a solution for this problem? I would like to get my PCIe card working on 2.6.25 version.

Thanks and regards,
Srinivasa Rao Kilaparti.

Why are you asking this in the 64 bit forum?

Try the kernel and hardware forum. you'll get much faster help there.
