sto provando anche a marcarle ~ ma non mi ricompila nemmeno le vecchie e sono incasinato con hal e dbus, sempre a causa del segmentation fault

Non passare alle glibc in testing, o non potrai più tornare indietro a quelle stabili (sul serio, c'è un blocco in emerge). Hai fatto un giro su bugzilla? Il 90% dei problemi lì hanno una soluzione. |

il fatto è che le glibc-2.8 sono installate da agosto 2008

scoprto l'arcano: il problema non erano le glibc, ma dbus/hal che rompevano i maroni nonostante si fossero compilati correttamente.
Sommerso dbus, tutto a posto
