When i boot to linux the screen is green is there a way to get it were it not just a green color anyway to fix it

Wow. We're going to need a bit more information.
Is this issue a new development? In other words, did the system previously system as expected? If it worked okay previously, do you know what changed between the time it was working properly and the time the issue occurred?
Are you booting to a console or X? If you're getting just a blank green screen when booting to a console, are you using a framebuffer?
Have you tried booting from a live CD or live DVD? If not, try booting from a recent live CD or DVD--perhaps Knoppix or SystemRescueCd or Sabayon. If so, what happens when you boot from live media?
If this is happening in X, what video driver are you using?
I noticed in the "Compuer specs" you provided, you listed "Generic Television" as the monitor. Are you actually using a television set? |
