Bonsoir,
j'ai acheté il y a une semaine une express card D-Link DWA-643:

Elle est donc compatible ath9k, je compile mon kernel pour en avoir le support soit le 2.6.28
Ma carte est bien fonctionnelle:

Quand je démarre ça marche super bien...
Mais le problème se pose quand je suis dans ma chambre, je ne capte mon routeur qu'à 17%, donc il m'arrive de me faire déconnecter !
Là je suis dans le séjour et mon routeur est à 1m de moi et dans le iwconfig on peut voir:

Ce qui n'est pas vraiment super...
Alors que sous Ubuntu, ça marche du tonnerre, j'ai vraiment un meilleur support de la portée du Wi-Fi !

PS: Je n'ai pas de soucis avec ma clé USB à chipset zydas

Tiens interessant, j'ai exactement le même soucis avec une carte Atheros AR5007 et les derniers drivers madwifi sur mon laptop!
Sous windows je capte le signal quasiment a fond alors que sous ma gentoo je suis environ a 15~20% et ca me déconnecte souvent (j'utilise également wpa_supplicant). |

Salut,
Alors moi avec une D-Link DWA 645 (chipset AR5416), driver ath9k (2.6.28-r2) et wpa_supplicant je ne constate pas de pertes scandaleuses. Par contre la chose "marrante" c'est que le monitor GNOME (gnome-netstatus) il me dit que la qualité de lien est de 91% et iwconfig je ne monte que très rarement au dessus des 70/100.
Je ne constate pas de latence anormal, faut regarder si Ubuntu n'a pas patché le modules, sinon je ne vois pas. |

En effet, avec zen-sources ca marche très bien! (je suis passer d'un signal qui vacillait entre 35 et 60/70 alors que la box est a 1m de moi derriere un mur, a un signal stable a 100/100!!)
Edit: En revanche ca rame (j'attend quasiment une dizaine de secondes avant d'avoir le moindre bit de réponse du serveur pour une page web!)
