My soundcard/alsa behaves very oddly... although nothing complains about anything being wrong... modules load (to my knowledge) and progrrams happily playback audio (they think) but it never reaches my amplifyer =(
deathlike silence =(

Code:
/etc/modules.d/alsa:
alias char-major-116 snd
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias snd-card-0 snd-fm801
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss
alias /dev/mixer snd-mixer-oss
alias /dev/dsp snd-pcm-oss
alias /dev/midi snd-seq-oss

I have unmuted every channel possible (100% vol aswell)

As I said, no error msgs playing soundfiles... just no sound =(
Has this happened to anyone else b4?

Kinda strange problem... mandrakes auto conf of sound had no trouble...

could it be 1.3b related? Or perhaps i should try to downgrade alsa?
