Hi there,

since there are no good drivers for our prefered SCSI-RAID from Adaptec, we would need another suggestion.

Does anybody of you has a good supported SCSI-RAID controller for Linux with RAID5 below EUR/$ 500?

Thank you very much.

I had excellent results with Mylex cards on Linux (Debian).

The model I've used on severl occasions was AcceleRaid 170, the driver is DAC960 in the kernel configuration (under block devices).

Can't remember the transfer rates, the servers were set for my clients, and I don't have one for my disposal right now to test it.

The Raid level were 1 and 5 with hotswap drawers. Works like a charm.
