I've installed Gentoo 1.2 at home and 1.3a at work with much success. Without Gentoo's help & FAQ, and this FORUM, none of it would be possible. I've been using Linux for almost 3 years now, and have been trying Distro after Distro and just was never real happy with flexibility in some of the more comercial one's that are out there (you know what I'm talking about), then I found Gentoo! I'm satisfied and staying.

My home system is as follows:

AMD Duron 1100
2GB SDRAM
Nvidia 2 32MB
Sound Blaster Live
3Com 3c905B

I even for the first time decided I wanted to play a video game on Linux, emerged quake & played 7 hours online last night! It was AWESOME

Shortly I should be getting some old SPARCstation 4's at work and I will be trying Gentoo on those too.
