|
|
I emerged a few updated packages and all went fine aprt from gnome-games-2
At the end of the process, after compiling I see this
ACCESS DENIED unlink: /usr/share/applications/gnect.desktop
and then emerge stopps with
!!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully.
!!! Function src_install, Line 7, Exitcode 2
!!! install failure
--------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------
LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-gnome-games-2.0.1.1-24602.log"
unlink: /usr/share/applications/gnect.desktop
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
!!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/gnome-extra/gnome-games/gnome-games-2.0.1.1.ebuild .
I searched the forum and found a hint to set SANDBOX_DISABLED=1 .
But that sounds more like a hack. I'd rather know what went wrong and how to get a correct normal ebuild of the package.
Any ideas?

This seems like a problem on the ebuild end. I would look at the ebuild file and find out who authored the file and contact them regarding it. Also file a bug at https://bugs.gentoo.org. |

Yes I know this but it seems more like a hack to me and I'd rather have it work in the usual way.
Anyway, there is a new gnome-games and the build went fine this time
