I've been trying to get epsxe working on my machine tonight without success. It runs the game fine, but I can't control it. When I go into controller setup, it complains about keycodes.lst being corrupt or non-existent. I looked in the cfg directory of .epsxe, and it's a sym link to /usr/lib/psemu/cfg/keycodes.lst, or something like that, which exists, but is emplty (which I guess is corrupt). How can I rectify this? What's the format of the file so I can plop in some defaults and configure using epsxe?
Also, the padjoy plugin seems to be giving me problems, but I haven't tried everything I can think of for that yet, so I'm not going to complain at the moment.
Thanks for all your help. _________________ They don't have a good bathroom to do coke in. |

Had the same problem after emerging it.
I grabbed the tgz file from the epsxe homepage and got the keycode.lst file from that.
I dumped it into ~/.epsxe and everything was fine from then on. |

Thanks. Worked like a charm.
I probably should have thought of that. Instead I spent a whole bunch of time reading through their forums to see if I could find the solution... _________________ They don't have a good bathroom to do coke in. |
