Ho questa situazione:

Code:
# ls -la /etc/make.profile
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 56  9 lug 08:19 /etc/make.profile -> ..//usr/portage/profiles/default/linux/x86/2008.0/server

Code:
 # eselect profile list
Available profile symlink targets:
  [1]   default-linux/x86/2006.1
  ...
  [11]  default/linux/x86/2008.0/server *
  [12]  hardened/linux/x86

Ma sugli elog di portage ottengo sempre questo warning:

Code:
WARN: setup
This profile has not been tested thoroughly and is not considered to be
a supported server profile at this time.  For a supported server
profile, please check the Hardened project (http://hardened.gentoo.org).
This profile is merely a convenience for people who require a more
minimal profile, yet are unable to use hardened due to restrictions in
the software being used on the server. This profile should also be used
if you require GCC 4.1 or Glibc 2.4 support. If you don't know if this
applies to you, then it doesn't and you should probably be using
Hardened, instead.

è un problema? Posso risolverlo?
Grazie per l'attenzione, ciao!

scusa, ma da quanto tempo non fai un sync, aggiorni il world e soprattutto portage?
Potrebbe essere che sono su amd64, ma non ho disponibile il 2006.1:
Code:
#> eselect profile list
Available profile symlink targets:
  [1]   default-linux/amd64/2007.0
  [2]   default-linux/amd64/2007.0/desktop
  [3]   default-linux/amd64/2007.0/no-multilib
  [4]   default-linux/amd64/2007.0/server
  [5]   hardened/amd64
  [6]   hardened/amd64/multilib
  [7]   selinux/2007.0/amd64
  [8]   selinux/2007.0/amd64/hardened
  [9]   default/linux/amd64/2008.0 *
  [10]  default/linux/amd64/2008.0/desktop
  [11]  default/linux/amd64/2008.0/developer
  [12]  default/linux/amd64/2008.0/no-multilib
  [13]  default/linux/amd64/2008.0/server
  [14]  hardened/linux/amd64

Synco circa una volta a settimana. I profili sono rimasti dalla prima installazione del server...

Anche io ho dal 2006.1al 2008

Mi sono accorto di non essere passato al profilo 2008 ma di essere al 2007.... :?

Ora do un aggiornamento
Code:
emerge -uDN system && emerge -uDN world

Credo che basti.

beh... quel warn significa solamente che il profilo selezionato non è considerato stabile, quindi teoricamente se vuoi un qualcosa di più solido di un "magari funziona" ti converrebbe migrare su uno stabile.
