Bonjour,

je viens d'acheter un xps (de chez dell), naturellement je commence a tout formater pour pouvoir installer ma distribution favorite : gentoo
Tout se passe bien. J'en arrive donc à l'installation d'un W.M. Je ne me pose pas de question j'installe wmii car c'est celui que j'ai l'habitude d'utiliser.
Je me réfere donc au manuelle (je ne connais pas étapes par coeur). J'en arrive à l'installation de wmii en lui même et là j'obtiens un message d'erreur.
Je vais voir le log, mais impossible de comprendre où est le problème. Enfin surtout je ne vois pas ce qu'il faut faire.
Je viens donc ici vous demander conseils et sagesse.

sinon pour mon problème je me suis dit : vu que j'ai un autre ordi avec la même architecture où est installé wmii. Pourquoi ne pas copier comme un bourrin les binaires de mon autre ordi vers mon xps ??

Dans ce cas quels sont les fichiers à copier ??

Effectivement si tu as un autre ordinnateur avec la même architecture tu peux copier les binaires, essaye avec quickpkg.
Tu peux même utiliser un serveur de binaires avec le FEATURES="buildpkg" regardes ici ou pour voir comment mettre en place un serveur de binaires ; c'est plus propre que de copier comme un bourrin les fichiers binaires :wink:

sinon je n'ai aucune idée pour ton problème.

J'ai utilisé l'option "-b" et "-K" de emerge et çà a fonctionné comme sur des roulettes !!

je ne connaissais pas cette fonctionnalité je crois que je vais en abuser tellement c'est bon ^^"

dans tous les cas mon problème d'orrgine n'est toujours pas résolut, cela dit c'est moins grave maintenant :P
