Is there a doc or a program to watch DVD's (hopefully without a region code)? What dvdapp is the best? _________________ Diplomacy is the art of letting the other party have things your way.

Personally I use vlc but you can also find useful ogle (makes full use of the menus), xine and mplayer. _________________ Need to flame people LIVE on IRC? Join #gentoo-otw on freenode! |

Moving to Desktop Environments.
I would push Ogle and/or Xine. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

ogle works immediatly, xine needs a plugin to play encrypted dvds (all) and is more full featured. I havent been able to get xine working yet. |

Personally, I tend to use Xine with either the d4d or d5d plugins. Ogle also works fine for me, with the '$ogle -u gui' command, but it doesn't look as professional:). |
