I tried to emerge mozilla-firebird-cvs this afternoon, but received the following error:

Calculating dependencies
!!! all ebuilds that could satisfy "mozilla-firebird-cvs" have been masked.
!!! Error calculating dependencies. Please correct. |
I've checked the /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask file and can't find an entry for firebird.
For posterity's sake, I created /etc/portage/package.unmask and put an entry for the firebird cvs.
However, I still can't emerge firebird - I get the exact same message.
Searching through the forums, I can't find anyone else that has had this problem. Am I missing something? |

yup, that worked - everything's compiling right now.
I didn't see anybody else mention needing to do that, so I didn't think to use it. I'll remember for next time!
