Ciao a tutti e buone ferie fatte o da fare...
Ho un problema con il server in questione per quanto riguarda lui:

In pratica non mi trova nessuno degli hard disk sata che ho nel server.
Facendo una ricerca ho trovato un post del 2006 che dice di risolvere il problema così:

Il fatto è che neanche nel kernel del livecd2008 è presente il modulo per quel controller.
Che mi consigliate? Faccio come detto nel quote? Grazie a tutti anticipatamente.

Dato che parli del liveCD suppongo che tu stia installando gentoo, giusto?
In questo caso hai provato anche con una Knoppix o altra distribuzione Live per vedere se il tuo controller risulta supportato?
Perché per installare gentoo non é necessario partire dal liveCD di gentoo, ti basta una qualsiasi distribuzione (anche già installata) e poi fai il chroot.
