La mia intenzione è usare ldap ma pare che debba usare heimdal (attivato da smbkrb5password) però diversi pacchetti (nfs-utils e openssl) vogliono a forza mit-krb5.
Posso uscirne in qualche modo?
In particolare se disabilito globalmente la use kerberos a quali possibili noie vado incontro (a parte il fatto che vorrei anche usare kerberos per autenticarmi con nfs)?

io non ho la USE "kerberos" attiva in nessun profilo e non ho mai avuto problemi; credo ti basti abilitare la suddetta use per NFS (se fai già autenticazione NFS tramite kerberos, altrimenti puoi tranquillamente sorvolare).

nfs-utils vuole per forza mit-krb5 e presso un cliente c'è un server nfs impostato per l'autenticazione tramite kerberos (non ne ho ancora avuto bisogno ma non si mai), vorrà dire che la tolgo di mezzo.
Va bene che ho solo 20 GB a disposizione sul portatile ma se mi creo un chroot minimale solo per nfs rischio solo di impazzire per configurarlo e dietro alle restrizioni del chroot o mi faccio del male sul serio?
