ok while, emerging pykde, one of its dependencies gets stuck, and WILL NOT finish compiling
so i need a way to download the package, and not install it-- thanks
im looking in the man page right now too
so i might have it in a few |

ebuild /usr/portage/directory/directory/package.ebuild fetch
Will download the package.
ebuild /usr/portage/directory/directory/package.ebuild unpack
Will unpack the package.
ebuild /usr/portage/directory/directory/package.ebuild compile
Will compile the package.
'man ebuild' is your friend
