i just got gentoo installed (without X). after i let the system sit for about 10/15 min, the screen goes blank. that happened during the install, but all i had to do was hit a key and the screen would come back on. now, after installation, hitting a key does not work. it just stays blank.
any help |

How about to plug in again your keyboard? (Joke) ;))
It looks to me, that you have a little problem with your powermanagment. Which hardware do you use? How did you compile your kernel (I know, with gcc -haha, again a joke!). I mean, which setting did you in the powermanagment section?

Would disabling BIOS power saving features entirely or for the screen solve this? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
