Hi all,

I am planning on installing gentoo on my laptop to replace Windows but I have some hardware that I am not sure will work with linux.

They are:

Socket Communications Serial I/O pcmcia card (One Port) -- Not here yet, just ordered
Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless Notebook adapter MN-520

I did a search on google on both of them and didn't find anything for the microsoft card, but one website said linux supports the two port version of the Socket Serial Card. It did not mention anything about the one port version.

If you know these do or don't work with linux or have tried them, please let me know.

Thanks!
