Just "emerge glibc", right?

Thank you.

Correct, though it should not be necessary to explicitly emerge it, it will be pulled in if you ask to --update system.

Correct.

Just to be safe you could do a revdep-rebuild, but I don't think it's necessary.

Guys,
Thanx for the reply.
I am trying to upgrade GNOME only not the whole system.
And it gives me a blockage.

So, I am going to start the command... :)

BTW, what is best: run "revdep-rebuild" immediately after glibc upgrade, or do it after updating the GNOME? My guess is right after glibc. Am I correct?

Thank you.
