Hello everyone,

I have done the same as here:
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-692288-start-0-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-completely+snafud+system.html

AND i know not to do this !!!!!
I just copy pasted the wrong line into unemerge ( I wanted to unemerge sys-apps/mktemp ).
And pressed enter and then switched to another desktop...

so the pc is still running but I can't re-emerge anything or do anything.

is there a way to re-install coreutils ?

I just want to know the possibilities BEFORE I restart my system....

THX

*_-=Banana=-_*,

Get the binary to suit your system from the tinderbox
Put the binary into / and untar it.

If
Code:
 tar xjpf <tarball>
won't run. try
Code:
busybox tar xjpf <tarball>

Ignore the "extra garbage at end" warning from tar. These files are portage binpackages, and have portage information added at the end.
