Cannot su with added user.

Well, I tried adding a new user and had lots of issues, so I emerge'd superadduser. Before I used superadd, I removed the user I created from the passwd and shadow file. Then I readded the same user back via superadduser.

Now when I logon with that user, I can launch X, etc, but I cannot su with that account at all. What can I do to remedy this?

This is already been mentioned many times in the forums here as well is in the FAQ.

Make sure the user is a memeber of the wheel group.
