coreutils was blocking my latest "emerge world" and I uninstalled it. Now I can't seem to emerge anything. I tried to emerge coreutils and got this error:
Code:

emerge -u coreutils 2>&1

Download the package appropriate for the architecture of the system from tinderbox, unpack it into the root directory, then reinstall the package.

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads, refer to topic "Killed my coreutils -- HELP".
