I don't know if this is related but I'm getting the following error on KDE startup:
Error while initialized the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (Permission denied)
The sound server will continue...
I have insmod'ed my sound module (i810_audio) so I dunno what the problem could be. Thanks in advance!

Did you add your user to the audio group? |
