Ora muito boa tarde,
Instalei gentoo na minha g2w e meti como wm Kde.
Aqui começa a minha dor de cabeça.
Quando faço startx, ele arranca o kde mas chega a uma parte no arranque do wm, aparece o seguinte erro:
"The application 'The KDE Session manager' (ksmserver) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEV)"
depois de aparecer este erro volta para consola... 
Alguem saberá qual o problema ?
Já percorri nos foruns e não encontrei nada sobre este assunto especifico.
Se alguem puder dar uma ajuda agradeço.

| Já tive problemas desses que se resolveram com uma correcta configuração da rede, principalmente no ficheiro /etc/hosts. Verifica esse ficheiro, principalmente a linha para o localhost (127.0.0.1) |

A não ser que uses ipv6, podes comentar ou apagar as linhas correspondentes a ipv6. Depois, tenta colocar a linha do localhost assim:

|
Se isto não resolver tenta colocar também uma linha correspondente ao teu ip a no /etc/hosts como a do localhost. |

Bem emergi outra vez o kde e já ficou bem mas ....
continuo a não perceber o erro que deu ...
