does anyone know what drivers will work with my on-board RTL8201? i hearded that the sis900 drivers would work, but i haven't had any luck. also, my board has this great feature that all boards should have, it tells me( while bios are booting) what it's doing, then when the os loads, it displays FF, then the os can put whatever it wants there, the 2.4 linux kernels would display my cpu temp in ferenheight, but it was buggy, but the 2.6 kernels seem to display random crap, like 00, 02, f4, and other weird stuff, does anyone know if there's some way to make it display my temp in celcius? and does anyone have any idea whay the 2.6 kernels say "IRQ 7 disabled" every few minutes? |

You try the nvnet drivers? As far as I know, the Realtek chip is just being used as the interface to the onboard nic.
My Abit NF7-S has the same PHY chip (just physically checked ), and the nvnet (emerge nforce-net) drivers work fine. |
