I have the onboard sis 7018 audio chipset, included on my pc-chips m810lr mainboard. I can play sounds fine, however, every time two sounds (e.g. xmms playback and gaim login sound) overlap, i get an annoying interference and the playback of one sound stops... i have had this problem on almost every linux distro i used (gentoo and redhat) except suse 8.2...
Does anyone have any idea why this problem happens, anyone had this problem before?
