|

Hi, I reported a bug for galeon in the Gentoo bugzilla:
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26935
But the response was "try the unstable version (1.2.11)". I _would_ install it, however when I do `ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -up galeon' I get a huge long list of unstable dependancies it wants to install before galeon.
What should I do? Is there a way to build the latest version galeon without having to install all the unstable dependancies? Or, should I just reply in bugzilla and say "sorry I cannot"?
NB: I did notice when searching for this type of bug that someone else suggests changing 1.2.11 to a stable ebuild. Maybe I should wait 'til that happens?
Thanks,

Also...
In cases like these when you want to use ONE unstable ebuild, but not all its unstable dependencies, try using the switch --nodeps
Does miracles.
