koffice-1.2_beta1-r2 fails to emerge

Trying to emerge koffice fails with:

/usr/i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lpython2.1

This bug was already reported with bug # 3248 for python2.0.

My question: Did anyone manage to get around this?

Problem seems to be fixed with yesterday's snapshot.

It seems that this bug is back again with the release of beta2.

Any suggestions?
