The error:
Code: | bash-2.05b# emerge ksambaplugin -v
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) net-misc/ksambaplugin-0.4.2 to /
!!! ERROR: net-misc/ksambaplugin-0.4.2 failed.
!!! Function , Line 1098, Exitcode 1
!!! error sourcing ebuild |
I've searched the Gentoo forums for something that's even similar, and the general advice I've come across is to 'emerge sync', as the ebuild file is probably bad. However, I've tried this a number of times, with different servers, and each time I get the same problem.
I hate to build from source myself, it seems terribly messy. Any ideas/advice? Or a new ebuild file?
Thanks! _________________ Wikipedia - The Free Encyclopædia |

Use this code
Code: | inherit kde-base
need-kde 3
IUSE=""
DESCRIPTION="KSambaPlugin is a KDE 3 plugin for configuring a SAMBA server."
SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/ksambakdeplugin/${P}.tar.bz2"
HOMEPAGE="http://ksambakdeplugin.sourceforge.net"
LICENSE="GPL-2"
KEYWORDS="x86 ~ppc"
newdepend ">=kde-base/kdebase-3"
RDEPEND="$RDEPEND >=net-fs/samba-2.2.7"
myconf="$myconf --enable-sso"
[ -n "$DEBUG" ] && myconf="$myconf --enable-debugging --enable-profiling" || myconf="$myconf --disable-debugging --disable-profiling"

I got it from this thread so it isn't mine, but thought you would like to know. https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=74269&highlight=ksambaplugin |
