Latest version for sparc32 is 1.4_rc4
Latest version for sparc64 is 1.4_rc4-2

Hi All,

In about an hour or two, there will be a new experimental sparc64 LiveCD
on your favorite mirror in experimental/sparc/livecd/sparc64. Here's a
list of what's new/fixed

- Sucessfully boots on Sun Blade 100s (users of other models of the Sun
Blade line please test and provide feedback).
- Upgrade to kernel 2.4.21 as well as a working SMP kernel
- Possible keyboard mapping fix, if you were having problems before,
please test and let me know
- On the extremely experimental side of the house, the LiveCD has support
for reiserfs and jfs. NOTE: These are not currently supported but users
have expressed interest in them, so try at your own risk. You will need
to load the appropriate modules to use them.

create detailed bugs at https://bugs.gentoo.org and assign them to either
the sparc team or myself (weeve@gentoo.org).

Hi All,

There's a new experimental LiveCD on the mirrors for sparc64 named
gentoo-sparc64-1.4_rc4-11Aug2003.iso.bz2. Please test and report issues.

ChangeLog

- Changed kernel support for SYM53C8XX from a module to be built
into the kernel. Should fix bugs 24059, 25984 and 26380.
- Upgraded kernel to 2.4.22-rc2 (plus extra patches) to include
suppport for OpenBootProm versions greater than 4.5.9 (Blade
150 and Blade 2000? support), UltraSparc IIIi support, broadcom
ethernet adapter support (tg3).
- Added kernel patch to fix lockup issues on Ultra1 Enterprise
modules using an onboard ethernet adapter (if this causes
problems for non-Ultra1E hme users, let me know)
- Added info on different video mode support

Hi All,

There's a new LiveCD named gentoo-sparc64-1.4_rc4-13Aug2003.iso.bz2 in
experimental/sparc/livecd/sparc64 on the mirrors that has added modules for network device support (for devices such as the Netra X1). Thanks to cami for noticing this

Changes include;
- Upgrade to kernel 2.4.22-rc2 which *may* fix smp issues for supersparcs
- Upgraded to SILO 1.3.0
- Added reiserfs and jfs support as modules. Like sparc64, we are not considering this supported, but feel free to test it out and let us know your results
