|
|
I am using Gentoo Linux with CUPS 1.1.19 and Foomatic 3.0.0 (latest versions from Portage), with the HP LaserJet 2200d printer.
Everything worked perfectly well up until the last updates made about a week ago.
Now the only way I can print documents is on two sides, Short Edge.
I tried to change settings via the Web-based administration interface for CUPS, setting them either to `Two-sided printing Off,' or else to `Long-Edge' (my usual default option), but nothing happens: everything
still gets printed on two sides, Short Edge. The command-line option -o Duplex=DuplexNoTumble is likewise ignored. The option -o sides=one-sided however still works.
thanks for any advice,

It didn't work for me, with exactly the same problem (laserjet 4100 and lpd print queue, though).
