I compiled gs-sources (2.4.22_pre2) with ACPI support on my COMPAQ Evo N610c. All the modules (ac, battery, fan, processor and thermal) had been loaded successfully after the boot (lsmod).

"acpi -V" did show it's functioning. However the laptop still shuts down itself when it's overheated. I don't have this problem when I use APMed kernel.

Did I miss somthing?
