every time i want to emerge imagemagick, emerge want to download agian this file and fail to find it.
ImageMagick-5.5.7-10.tar.bz2 is in the DISTDIR dir but with another MD5.
so i have downloaded it 2 times from 2 different sites and when i do:
md5sum ImageMagick-5.5.7-10.tar.bz2 i don't have the same result as in the ebuild and from my DISTDIR dir, and the 2 results are differents...
any reason why?
patrick
ps: i have imagemagic installed and the first time i think that the md5 sum was right... i want just merging it again... |

and so have I...
Wanted to Install gimp-print which requires imagemagick. Although he says "installing imagemagick-5.5.7-r1" he downloads imagemagick-5.5.7-10, perhaps is this the problem?
Couldn't get it installed, even not with downloading manually...

|

you can try this...
Code: | #!/bin/bash
mkdir -p /usr/local/portage/media-gfx/imagemagick
cp /usr/portage/media-gfx/imagemagick/imagemagick-5.5.7-r1.ebuild /usr/local/portage/media-gfx/imagemagick/
nano -w /usr/portage/media-gfx/imagemagick/imagemagick-5.5.7-r1.ebuild
## change the SRC_URI in it to one reachable exemple:
## ftp://ftp.imagemagick.org/pub/ImageMagick/ImageMagick-5.5.7-10.tar.bz2
ebuild /usr/portage/media-gfx/imagemagick/imagemagick-5.5.7-r1.ebuild digest
emerge imagemagick |
if you don't have PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage" set it or correct the script accordingly
Good Luck
