keyboard, mouse, nvidia.
I posted this issue under kernel & hardware, but no resolve yet. |

You need to add the following lines to your /etc/make.conf:
| Code: |
VIDEO_CARDS="nvidia vesa"
INPUT_DEVICES="keyboard mouse"
|
if you haven't and then run again.
If this is the problem you were probably using outdated install documentation that relates to the old version of the X-server (now replaced in gentoo with the new and rather differently structured version).

In that case a bit more info please:
emerge --info
and the contents of your xorg.conf at the very least.
