Hi,

Does anybody know for a way to check my memory timings (as detailed as possible), in Linux...

My memory chip has an SPD... but it's sticker doesn't say anything, not even a brand (chips are "VM").

I would really like to known what timing the chip has, especially the CAS Latency, but I would also like to know the other timings!

Kind Regards,
DrZ

drz,

There should be a big long number on the chips, usually beginning with a few leetters and having a hypen close to the end.

If you type that into google, (up to the hypen) you should find the data sheet for the chips. It will tell you more than you could ever need to know about the memory timings.

The SPD may not be programed with the same info.
