|
|
I have a PCI Linksys Ethernet card that isn't automatically detected during installation. I believe it's a PCMCIA card and it uses the tulip.o module. I've never had any trouble getting it to work with other distros. However I followed instructions and did the :
insmod pcmcia_core ( this loaded fine)
insmod i82365 ( I got an error, I believe it was along the lines of no cards found... )
insmod ds ( same error as above.)
Is tulip.o supported, I didn't see it.. I saw a variation of it in the /var/lib/kernel/modules/pcmcia dir but I tried insmod and modprobe on it and that didn't work.
I'm sure I"m jsut doing something wrong.. Help me out please, this distribution seems awesome. Thanks -- Adam

Thanks, hehe that was easy enough! The funny thing was that I searched through most of the directories and didn't see the tulip.o module. |
