Warcraft3 battle.net is bust?

Blizzard games dont work on battle.net with a cracked .exe

(d2 and d2:lod didn't)

I.d say the problem is with the .exe's being a different version,as the cracked exe only gets around the cd's copy protection you still have to have a key to install,(well thats with the one I used at least)...so I'd have a go with the other exe.
Just of topic, what kernel ver are you using ,as I can get this running excelent with the stock vanilla , but not with gentoo and low lantancy or premptive patches installed,not sure wether I have just missed something else or wether the matrox drivers dont like the low lantacny scheduling?????
